Good ol' fashion church picnic

We had the best time yesterday after church. We went to the church's annual family picnic. It was at the city park and there was so much to do. There was the playground, horse shoes, croquet, relay races, hot dogs, ice cream, cotton candy and kettle corn. Needless to say, the boys ate junk most of the afternoon! They ate cotton candy for the first time and it was so funny! Neither one of them are real keen on food that has a different texture so to see their faces when the cotton candy hit their tongue was so funny! It was like they were thinking..."I like the sugar but I'm not too sure about this feeling on my tongue." They both tended to stick with Nana and her ice cream. We didn't get home until almost 3:00 and everyone took a nap! (Even Mommy!) It was a great day!
