FAIR WARNING....this is a teeny tiny bit whiney.... :)
Just like so many things change when kids enter our lives, Valentine's Day isn't any different! Today marks the 10th Valentine's that Sean and I have spent together. It should be a day of love, joy and gratitude for each other. We should be going our for a romantic dinner and gazing into one another's eyes professing our never-ending love for each other. We should be reading super sappy cards that share warmth and emotions from the heart.
That's not exactly going to happen today...
I'm finishing up the last of sinus infection and Zachary is home with bronchitis. He's running a fever and coughing like crazy. He doesn't understand why he can't go to school today or run around the house. Daniel doesn't understand why Zachary isn't playing with him like he usually does. I'm at school with 20 very hyper 4th graders who are READY TO PARTY!
Maybe we'll celebrate in March...

It really is ok to celebrate on a different date.
SO sorry that you have sickness in the house. It's really frustrating when they feel too good to lay still and sleep but not well enough to really play.
Hope it passes soon!
ahh, yes...welcome to parenthood. :)
we had a candle-lit dinner tonight...thought it would be fun...cerys was too concerned about who turned the lights off and if the candles were hot, Bailey was hyped up from all the candles and kept spazzing out and spilled her plate of food. so romantic. :)
