Christmas 2008

It's Monday night and our Christmas celebrations have begun. Tonight was the kickoff. This marked the 19th year we've had a big fondue meal. We always use my mom's Christmas china, candle light and lots of food! We have meat and cheese fondue, baked potatoes, some sort of salad and rolls. This year was a very yummy success. We got to introduce my future sister-in-law to our family tradition. She enjoyed it too! The boys did pretty well with everything. I was smart and pre-cooked their meat so they didn't have to wait. We all ate more than we should have then sat in the living room enjoying homemade cider. It was a great evening.

Tomorrow is just for the 4 of us. Sean and his dad are going to take the boys to see a movie and I get some time to myself! Merry Christmas to me! :) We're going to make a gingerbread house and maybe make some cookies. Wednesday will be a quiet day until we load up to go to my parent's house. We'll go to church and then have a light dinner. We'll spend the night at their house and then spend Christmas day. We'll come home Thursday night.

I am looking forward to all the activities. It's going to be a great Christmas but more importantly it's going to a great opportunity to make more memories.
