It was a quiet weekend...thank goodness for that. Life seems to be slowing down a bit now that the adoption is in sight. We have signed our last required document and are on for going to court on March 24th. We are praying that it will go through. The boys continue to grow like weeds and amaze us everyday. Daniel is starting to show interest in saying prayers with us at bedtime. It is the sweetest thing. The other day he told Sean that he wanted to pray. Sean was thrilled to let him pray. This is what came out
...(it's a little dark but if you turn up the volume you can hear what he's saying!)
For those of you who don't speak 2 year old here's the translation:
"God is great, God is good. Let us thank him for our food. Amen. "
I think it's time to start working on some new prayers. :) The greatest thing is that God heard him and He knows Daniel's heart. What a joy to see Him at work in Daniel's life even at this young age.

How sweet! Ben says the same prayer regardless of the situation. "ThankYouJesusForThisFoodAmen." All run together, too.
On the topic of spiritual training, I highly recommend you play regular praise & worship and hymn CDs for the boys (in addition to the children's music). Nothing thrills my heart more than to hear the boys singing "You are glorious" at the top of their lungs as they play around the house.
Thanks for the suggetion. We do listen to a lot of praise and worship at home. Our favorite our the PraiseBaby DVDs. They are wonderful! They are 30 minutes long and are perfect for settling down before bed.
I love it when our boys pray, even if, as Stephanie already commented, always the same.
