Lesson learned...

The old saying, "never assume" came true at my house yesterday. It was a beautiful afternoon and the boys were outside with Sean. I had just gone inside to check email and think about dinner. After about 10 minutes, I realized that it was very quiet. I wasn't hearing the happy squeals and laughter of my boys. Never a good sign.

I went outside and then I heard it. I hear rushing water. I went to the side of the house where the water hose is connected and I see my boys SOAKING WET! Daniel has unhooked the water hose, turned the water of full blast and they are "taking a shower". Nice.

I called for Sean and asked if he knew they were doing this...his answer..."I thought you were watching them." Never assume...

After realizing that they were wet because their parents thought the other one was watching them...I told Sean to get out the sprinkler. We might as well embrace the moment!
