These are the days of our lives...

I feel the need to write a little about the circle of friends that God has blessed us with. There is a group of people that have been a part of our lives for over 13 years. Some of us go back as far as junior high. In all of the couples at least one of the spouses is an MK (missionary kid) and in some cases, both spouses are MKs. We all came together at OBU. (Ouachita Baptist University) How we all met is a story for another day. The boys played soccer together and the girls would get together to talk,(no topic was off limits!) laugh, cry and cheer for our soccer boys. We celebrated first dates and engagements. We planned wedding together and stood together as we pledged our love for our spouse. We have supported and prayed for each other through pregnancies, adoptions, career changes and helped each other move countless times. We have shared a lifetime of memories together. A groups of girls that are forever connected. This was the good ole days...pre-kids! :) Silliness at its best! Summer 2007
The years have gone by and we have definitley grown in number! There are now 12 kids - all under the age of 5! The newest little one is only a week old! Welcome to the circus Natalia! The greatest joy has been praying for each other as God has taken us to the ends of the earth...literally! Right now we are spread out all over the globe (4 different continents) and we are about to spread out a little further. We've said goodbye to two more families and sent them to Africa. There are only 3 of us left in the DFW area and in some ways that's a little sad to me today. I know that one day, we will all be together again.

Our soccer boys in their prime! We still love you all! Oh how time flies...
So, to Marc, Charity, Keith, Susan, Tim, Leslie, Daniel, Keturah, Jeremy, Ann, Nathan and Trevlyn and all the little ones in between....may the Lord bless you and keep you! You have each blessed our lives and we have loved the 13+ years that our lives have been intertwined. We are excited about what the Lord is doing in our lives and we know that there are many more years together. We love you all and pray blessings on your lives as you serve Him today!

How fun! I do not even remember taking that pic in the pool with those things on our heads. Could I have blocked that out? ;) Ahhh, so young. :)
