This past week has been wonderful. I left school on Friday the 11th, feeling tired, frustrated, dry and very little joy. A week has gone by and I feel like a new person. There is a renewal in me and it is only from the Lord. He met me in my dry and weary place this week and raised me up. Thank you , Lord.
We didn't do anything fancy or outrageous. The boys played a lot, slept and ate a lot and overall just loved life. We helped friends clean out thier garage as they prepare to have twins. We enjoyed a nice visit from Sean's dad and enjoyed time at my parent's house. My house is clean, the laundry is caught up and everyone is healthy. Life is good.
The next few weeks will be challenging. There are A LOT of things going on at school. We will have Daniel's ARD in 2 weeks. This is also the week to register Daniel for kindergarten! Where did the time go!!?! There are soccer games, baseball registration and overall life to manage.
BUT...
If there is one thing that I KNOW to be true, it is this. My God is able to handle all of it and MORE! So here's to a new week and another opportunity to live in His grace and mercy.
